These terms are written in plain English on purpose. This page is a general reference — for larger projects, we'll put the specific scope, price and timeline in a written agreement before work starts.
Enquiries and quotes
Submitting the contact form or emailing us is an enquiry, not a commitment on either side. Any price or timeline we give you is an estimate until it's confirmed in writing.
Diagnose-first policy
For fix and support requests, we look at the issue and explain what's actually wrong before quoting a price. You decide whether to proceed once you understand what the work involves.
Products and licences
Products are licensed, not sold outright. Your licence covers use within the tier you bought — single, business or agency — and includes updates and support for its period. Redistributing, reselling or publishing the source of a licensed product isn't permitted. The full terms are on our licence agreement page.
Payment
Payment terms — amount, schedule and method — are agreed in writing for each project or licence before work begins. Nothing is charged automatically based on this website alone.
Ownership of work
Once a custom project is paid for in full, the resulting code, designs and content become yours, unless we've agreed otherwise in writing (for example where third-party tools or licences are involved). Our own products remain ours and are licensed to you as above.
What we don't guarantee
We build and maintain software to a high standard, but we can't guarantee specific business outcomes — traffic, sales, rankings and conversions depend on many factors outside development work. Anyone guaranteeing those is guessing.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page occasionally. The version live on this site at the time of your enquiry or purchase applies to it.
